JohnnyB Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 LinkySave big money over a Robin or Fender Tele bass, but with body contours, more tones, and a fitted case.
MCChris Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Why do you hate Robin basses, Johnny? And how do you know the savings will be big? That auction is far from over.
JohnnyB Posted October 21, 2009 Author Posted October 21, 2009 Why do you hate Robin basses, Johnny? And how do you know the savings will be big? That auction is far from over.I hope you're just yankin' my chain, but in case casual observers wonder, I don't hate Robin basses at all. It just seemed like it might enable someone to get a USA-made retro-cool Telecaster-style bass for not so much money.Given how much I like Rio Grande pickups, I'd probably loooove Robin guitars and basses. I sure like their sense of style.
