jettster Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 http://www.digitech.com/products/DF7/DF7.htm7 pedals in one, looks like a cool concept and some of the clips sound pretty good.
paults Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Speaking of Digitech, has anyone tried the Clapton pedal? There is supposed to be a Hendrix pedal coming, too.
MCChris Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 I've seen decent reviews of the Bad Monkey. Anyone here tried it?
silentman Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Bad Monkey is the shiz. $39 well spent. I don't own one...yet. The more I play one the cooler it gets.
DavidE Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 I've seen decent reviews of the Bad Monkey. Anyone here tried it? I bought one based on the ravings on The Gear Page. For $39, how much could I lose? Well, $39.I bought a used one so I could be sure to get one that was Made in the USA. Current ones are made in China. Still cost me $35. ;-)Anyway, I put it on the board and gigged with it last week in place of the analogman modded TS9.The Bad Monkey really sounded great and cut through really well. I used it over an orange Fulldrive 2, a Barber DDSS and a sparkledrive. It didn't replace my Mosferatu and I imagine it could do a clean boost, but the RC boost stayed on.There's a thread on the Gear Page with clips of a Fulldrive and a Bad Monkey back to back. Go take a listen!
Hackubus Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 On my 2nd Bad Monkey now. Sold the first to our bassist. Great little sounding pedal. I'm using mine as a boost (max vol, gain about 9 o'clock) in front of the green channel of my DSL 50. I usually leave it on all the time while playing. Hard little pedal to beat for $40.
