FS: Valvetech 2x10 amp

I'm looking to finance more recording gear, so since I have 2 Valvetechs, one unfortunately has to go to finance this. I'm the red 2x10 that is on the valvetech web front page. I bought it off of caddie a few years back and since then, it has only left my recording booth once. Still in near mint condition. Asking $950 plus shipping.

I was the original owner of that amp: Rob built it up for me when I designed the website and did that photo shoot. I can testify that the amp ROCKS! It is also one of my lifelong regrets that I sold it, but at the time I was playing bass 95% of the time, and my guitarist was playing it every day.

Someone buy this! I'd have to sell some stuff to buy it back, sadly :D

Does this amp have all the updates?

Any updates were done by the previous owners. Since I have had it, it has not been updated. Caddie or Polara would know better than me, or maybe even valvetech would know what the latest (if any) updates were performed.

It was made after the bass mod of a few years back. It was the very first one to be built with the new logo, and I had it with all the bells and wistles available at that time. The colors were sort of a joint decision of me (I wanted red) and Rob (wanted Indiana colors!)

I bought thst particular Valvetech combo from one of those Loo-zee-anna boys, I can't remember his name right now {maybe jeffr or cajunboy or I could be waaaay wrong} but I DO recall that he included about a half dozen different bottles of various hot sauces. Awesome stuff! You can get Tobasco in Chicago, but its tough to find the real deal loo-zee-anna hot stuff up north here.

I had no mods/updates done to it. Don't know what previous owners may have done. Call Rob at Valvetech. He's a good guy, very enthusiatic to talk amp talk with you. I'm sure he can tell what has been done to that particular unit.

What model is this amp? Any other specs you could provide? Thanks.

Form the website:

The Valvetech VAC 25 is a class A/B amp that has about 25 watts of tube tone that's just plain SWEET.

The heart of the amp are its 3-12AX7s, 2-6V6 power tubes and a 5U4 rectifier tube. Enough glowing glass to make any tube nut grin. This thing oozes old style vintage tone. Rockabilly, blues, country and jazz tones are all possible with this amplifier. Hey, this thing ain't no '59 Bassman wanna be. Switch into high gain mode and this amp delivers VICIOUS overdrive/distortion. It also has an excellent master volume so you can rock out at low volumes.

The amp comes with a boost footswitch. The back panel has an impedance switch for 4/8/16 ohms, Presence control, Reverb Level, 2 Speaker Outs, Send/Return with Level Adjust.

Thanks man. Just curious. Wasn't sure whether or not it was a Hayseed or something else. Nice amp, since I'm more into "American" tones these days (rather than Vox).
