nosajwp Posted February 20, 2010 Author Posted February 20, 2010 Most every year, Ovation comes out with a special model that showcases some of their latest technology. Biggie for this one is it is the debut of the deep contour bowl...Englemann spruce is nothing to laugh at either.Yes, it does have the LX bracing! Excellent tone and playability...I just prefer the look of the Elite multi-soundholes.
Uncle Thor's Hamer Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 Somebody buy this guitar already! Gloss neck, OpPro preamp, ebony fretboard, abalone trim, Englemann Spruce top, all on a deep contour body. It'll blow away any guitar 4X the price.I have a 2007 Collector's edition. It is essentially the same guitar but with the multi-hole design and less bling. It is the guitar I will never sell.
nosajwp Posted February 22, 2010 Author Posted February 22, 2010 Uncle Thor is right...great sleeper acoustic!
nervous Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Have you tried posting this at the Ovation Fan Club site?
nosajwp Posted March 15, 2010 Author Posted March 15, 2010 Yep...not much luck there either...I'll keep on trying though.
