Its definately not one of the heavier ones. To me it feels medium to medium light.

BadgerDave Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 That is a KILLER Daytona. The only reason I let it go is that I bought a '66 Relic Strat. At a fourth of the price, the Daytona is stupid cheap and a remarkable bargain. It is the nicest Daytona I've ever played.

sw686blue Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 Believe it or not Kizanski, you had something to do with this.NickĀ Really? How so? Well Kiz, here's the story. A few months ago, I was doing a google search on Hamer Artists and came across your website. Very cool! So I'm looking through your guitars and I come across the Hamer Daytona in Seafoam Green and a rosewood fretboard that you own. Man, did I start drooling. BIG TIME!!! I've thought about that guitar ever since. I had been thinking about e-mailing you and seeing if you were interested in selling but I didn't exactly have the cash flow. Last night I decided to put up my Special FM for sale in order to buy a Fender American Strat in ocean turquoise. Although it is a gorgeous guitar, it has a maple fretboard which is not my first pick. And this morning, Mike puts up this beautiful Daytona in Seafoam Green and a rosewood board. What are the odds? Mike, you have some amazing guitars. AMAZING!!! All the best. Nick
kizanski Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 Well Nick, I'm glad I could help out, especially since absolutely zero effort was required from me.My close friend edgar_allan_poe was good enough to sell me the "DayPoeNa" about 2 years ago for what he had payed ($350), and I soon after installed a set of Kinman pickups. It really is a marvelous instrument, and can't imagine selling it. It's just perfect for me.Lucky for you that Mike decided to sell his!Good for you. I know you'll enjoy it.
Mike K Posted August 13, 2005 Author Posted August 13, 2005 The Daytona is on its way to the new owner. Thanks to all...
