hamerhead Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Anybody here tried one? I think I'm going to have it done, but would like to hear some opinions first. Any downside?
bubs_42 Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Anybody here tried one? I think I'm going to have it done, but would like to hear some opinions first. Any downside?I've got one ready to ship out to them. IMHO the Sparkle Drive Lacks Sparkle, and the Keeley Modded Pedals that i've owned (SD,TS9,BD) were all awsome pedals. I'm looking forward to it.
Frank Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I have one and have for several years. It's a great addition to the pedal. He doesn't do anything to the clean boost. The overdrive sound is much better and the footswitch is a lot more dependable. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
sirDaniel Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 usually cant ever go wrong w/keeley mods; period
Frank Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 So a new switch comes with the Mod? I got a new switch with mine. I looked at the website and I don't see that listed anymore. My Keeley mod is several years old, so that might have changed.
hamerhead Posted March 18, 2011 Author Posted March 18, 2011 What does a mod like that run?$59 according to his website.
bubs_42 Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I'm putting my together and getting it out then. Awsome!
