tomteriffic Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 You are correct fror the most part. However, I have a Pacifica 12 whose bridge is set up for the low string first. It does help the lower string predominate a little.

The Newport 12 has a lot of maple as well, including--like the Ric--a routed maple hollow (or semihollow) body.
