kizanski Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 The Rios are sold and shipped, and I'm keeping the Standard! Here is a parts guitar with premium parts. It's an "Esquire Custom" made from a B. Hefner bound body and neck (also bound), Sperzel tuners, Willkinson bridge with compensated saddles and a DiMarzio HotRails humbucker. It's routed under the guard for a neck pickup, if that is in your plans. Fender decal says "GABSTER" under it. I don't know why. Comes with a "Kases" soft case (not a gig bag). $700 shipped. More photos here. Terms are: Price includes shipping to the lower US 48 states only. PayPal Gift or money order Thank you...
racingfan23 Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Your Korina Standard should sell in a heart beat!
belgian Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 I'll take the Rio's - I'll provide you a US shipping adress - my daughter is still in the States.

I don't know why.Needs one of these:Right you are!BTW: I'm coming close to pulling the Standard from this ad.I needed to sell a few things to fund my previous guitar projects, and I've done that.It "would be nice" to have the money for more horse-trading or future projects, but I never really wanted to sell the Standard anyway. If anyone id thinking of jumping on that bad boy, they should act soon before I make up my mind.
django49 Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 It sounds like a killer deal.......Alas, I am afraid that I too, would find it something I ended up not using enough to justify it.
Kurt L Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 It "would be nice" to have the money for more horse-trading or future projects, but I never really wanted to sell the Standard anyway. To quote the great Bugs Henderson:"Don't do it, don't do it if your heart's not in it!"
kizanski Posted January 4, 2012 Author Posted January 4, 2012 To quote the great Bugs Henderson:"Don't do it, don't do it if your heart's not in it!"That really doesn't apply to me because, as Muse will tell you, I have no heart. But I've decided to keep it.At least for a while.
MCChris Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I have no heart.yes you do.For the record, I never said Kizanski has no heart. I merely said he lacks the capacity for compassion and sympathy.
