Two USA Hamers for sale / trade in Europe (price lowered!)

Hi,

Up for grabs 2 USA Hamer guitars in Europe (Spain).

Both guitars have been professionally setup with 10s this month, as for my own peace of mind I do not want to sell or trade any guitar without it beeing properly checked and adjusted first. I will include the invoice of the setup in each guitar´s case.

USA Hamer Daytona SOLD
Bought used. Unmodified. Serial 541881. The color is green but looks "blueish" (depending on the light). This guitar has been used: it presents some fretwear, and the body shows various areas where the paint has worn off and a chip on its back that has got to the wood. Those are however purely cosmetic signs of use, the guitar plays and sounds great. I just bought a new hard shell case for it, to be able to ship it securely anywhere (edit: I now have a spare original Hamer hard shell case so whoever buys the Daytona gets the case; it´s the case you can see in the T51 pics).

(Pictures of the Daytona have now been deleted as the guitar has been sold).

USA Hamer T51 SOLD
Bought used. Unmodified. Serial 336219. This guitar has not been used much but a previous owner dropped it to the floor and therefore the guitar shows a big ding on the back of the body which has gone through the paint to the wood (the wood damage is hairline and on the surface) and has also caused some other minor cracks on other parts of the lacquer. It was however stabilised by a luthier and therefore it is only a visual flaw that does not affect the playability or tone of the guitar. Lastly, the ding is on the back of the guitar body, so it is not easy to see while in use. Original hard shell case included, in good working condition but with a couple of bent latches (they work perfectly, though).

(Pictures of the T51 have now been deleted as the guitar has been sold).

-------------

I have tried to take pictures of both guitars the best that I could, but please feel free to request more pictures if there is anything you want to take a closer look at.

The price is 600€ for each of these, plus shipping (price lowered on 25/04/12). I think these are fair prices for two guitars that sound and play great and are rarely available in Europe.

I accept Paypal and bank transfers and will ship anywhere (although due to current exchange rates these guitars will stay in the EU, I guess...).

I have made good deals with Case in this forum and with a couple of other members at the Gear Page. Please let me know if you want references and I will email them to get their agreement to give you their details.

As for the trades, I am looking for:

Guitars
Yamaha SA700/800/2000/2100/2200/2500 etc
Gibson SG (Classic or ´61RI)
Gibson Les Paul
USA Hamer Cruise Bass
Fender American Precision P/J Bass

Other
Moog Voyager Rack synth
Neumann U87 microphone
Universal Audio 1176LN compressor
Studer 961 or 962 desk

All trade ideas welcome, though, don´t be shy. :)

I understand the value of these items is varied, so an adjustement may be necessary either way (I will add cash if necessary, or exchange both guitars for just one item). Just let me know what have you got and what do you want and we will work it out. ;)

I prefer to keep these guitars within the HFC family. Only if they do not sell here I will advertise them elsewhere.

Please let me know if you have any doubt.

Many thanks.

Come on guys, don´t be shy making trade propositions. ;)

I understand some of the things I am requesting for trade are more expensive than what I have to offer, but I could trade both guitars for just one item or add cash or whatever...

Also, I have added a couple of items I am looking for in the original post above (but please keep in mind I am open to all trade ideas... ).

Nice Tele. Damm it got that crack.

Thank you.

Yes, it is definitely not a collector's piece, but it plays and sounds great (as does the Daytona...).

T-51's are really hard to find in Europe.

If I hadn't a bunch already....

Good luck on the sale.

Yeah, not to common. I have one in that colour, a great tele.

That break should be fixable by a good luthier, but it will cost some.

Thank you for your kind words. It is a great guitar. ;)

I am sure the break is fixable, but considering it is only a visual flaw I prefer to keep it as it is.

This T51 simply has to be bought by a player instead of a collector (I have nothing against collectors..., I could possibly be considered more a collector than a "gig warrior" nowadays... ).

Good luck with your sale! Both look good!

Theres one other on the go in Europa land-mass and surrounding islands - and that ones £800 - so you should be looking good to prospective buyers!

Yes I think it is a great deal for two guitars that sound fantastic and are very difficult to find in Europe (I bought the T51 to someone in Texas through TGP about a year ago and it took me months to find it...).

T51 sold (to a fellow HFC member). :)

The buyer didn´t want the OHSC, so it will ship with the Daytona instead. ;)

Man, I can't come around this thread. Wrong time to argue with the family however.

Go for it! :P Just kidding.

The Daytona is still available, if anyone is interested (and it will ship in an original hard shell case). ;)

T-51 has successfully arrived to the Ukraine! Many thanks to Victor - the guitar was packed very good and shipped immidiately. The guitar itself is a real piece of art! :)

Daytona sold locally, so now both guitars are SOLD.

I will be selling 3 or 5 USA Hamers shortly (available within the EU), so stay tuned. B)

Thanks everyone. :)
