Ting Ho Dung Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Finally got my lazy ass out of the chair and put my son's strap on. Thanks for everyone's help with the strap locks. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be either and the added new dimension of being able to move around the room was cool. I never new what I was missing. Shows to go ya you should try new positions. I did notice though that after a few beers it was tricky hitting the right spot, something that is easier when seated. All in all I really enjoyed it. My heels do hurt a bit today though. Seriously though, thanks to everyone who chimed in on the strap lock post. My son had a strap already rigged with the Dunlops (like I said, who knew; right?) so it was a no brainer to start there. I'll check out some of the other brands mentioned next time I'm at Sam Ash. This is a hurdle I needed to overcome. I must have had a bad experience as a kid or something I don't remember because I really can't rationalize why I was so reluctant to stand up and play. I feel like Howard Dean when he rolled up his sleeves and exclaimed, "RArrrrgghhhhhaaaaa". But wait, he lost the nomination for doing that. Oh well, here's to you guys and here's to me.
