FrankieIII Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 There were a bunch of changes to it, and the fact he changed the headstock logo (WTF?) and didn't even show a pic of the new logo makes me think he got for it what he deserved...
Eric Weston Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Seriously......I'd take just about any BadgerDave-built guitar over those every day of the week and twice on Sunday!!!! Maybe I just don't get it. Ever played one? Yup, but not at gig volume though nor with 11's, I think it had 9's.......had a bigger neck than my MIJ strat but honestly wasn't really any better of an instrument. Mine has actual, honest wear and tear (which is worth alot to ME). edit- I played a Mexi Roadworn Tele the other day (in BEST BUY!?!) with a FATTY neck that kicked all kinds of ass...GREAT sounding guitar, sometimes you just never know,

I'm basing my opinion on the fact that every one I've ever played has felt alive before I even plugged it in. And to clarify, I'm not naive enough to think market value on these things isn't based on the relicing and a TGP-esque cult of personality.I still want BaderDave's Nash Jazz Bass.

Eric Weston Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 It would have been worth $900 to give it an A/B with my own guitars,(probably) wouldn't lose any flipping it.......hell, I've only ever played one Nash that some dude brought out to a gig. It was just another beat-on Strat to me, lol.
