Ting Ho Dung Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I picked up my first Standard and now have questions: Mine is chambered. I looked on Hamer's website and it's the only way they come now. (?) It wasn't listed as an option anyway. Mine weighs 7 lbs, 13 oz. How much do non-chambered standards weigh? Is there a difference in tone between the two? Mine is very bright, much brighter than anything else I own. Why would that be when my studios are also mahogany / maple? So is my Monaco Elite. Our Blitz is all mahogany, how would it differ from the mahogany standard? Other than SD pickups. What are the Blitz pickups designed after? Our Blitz neck pu is 10.64 ohm. The '59 is 8.75 ohm And last but not least: Am I going to keep it?
