market price for a Neck Through Exotic Wood Impact Bass

Anyone have a good feel for the price of a used Neck Through Exotic Wood Impact Bass

I'm thinking about buying, not selling. And no, I don't know where one is for sale. Should I just be thinking custom shop?

I'd post over in the for sale side, but I don't think I have the cash currently to be a serious buyer. Just trying to see how much cash I need to accumulate to be able to snag one if it popped up.

I think they're so rare that there isn't any way to know what the market price would be. Somewhere in the realm of insanely expensive. Unfortunately, I don't know (and seriously doubt) that Hamer would make one now. They seem to be open to making anything with a setneck construction, but I don't know about neck-throughs and bolt-ons.

Yah, not sure if they would make a neck-thru...In terms of exotic wood anything, it will be pricey if you do a custom order, my Koa/Wenge Chap was not cheap - but very worth every penny! :)

Thanks all.

I might query at the custom shop, but at this point I'm probably not ready to go custom shop even if they were willing to make it. As far as guitars go, I think I'm still dating. Going custom shop feels like getting married. I don't know if I'm ready to commit.

PS I have a Carvin neck through guitar and it plays brilliantly. I have another import (though really nice) neck through exotic wood bass that is great as well - but neither of them are as sweet as that Hamer Neck Through Impact.
