Hamerhack Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Nothing wrong yet, but for Mogami Gold cables, can you just walk into any dealer and trade in your damaged one for a new one?(Like bringing in a Craftsman screwdriver that you bent while using it as a crowbar to any old Sears to exchange for a brand spankin' new one.)Do you need receipt?
JohnnyB Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 It's probably easier to get a reliable answer from a Mogami Gold dealer.
murkat Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Not at GC.to edit, to un confuse myself for lack of quote, etc.At G.C., should be no problem, they swap on the spot.
hamerhead Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 A buddy took his 100-year-old Monster cable to GC and they replaced it FOC.I'm sure any Mogami dealer would. But I hear Sears doesn't anymore.Might be worth a phone call.
django49 Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Sears has found some loopholes......"Yes, it DOES say Craftsman on your tool, but it was made in Taiwan and they are not covered".I would rather they not put their "quality" name on a POS and sell it with the impression it is something else.
