IMO the biggest bargains in guitardom, Hamer or otherwise. This one especially with all the upgrades (except for the Buzz Feiten, thing, feh).

My '95 is my last remaining Hamer and I love it. I recently put a Tonepros on mine, not because I'm a stickler about precise intonation (there ya go, Lou) but I like the look and feel of something more substantial there.

Chris,

I was going to install a TonePros for my latest Studio but instead went with a Pigtail. It is essentially the same bridge except that it weighs 2/3 less than the TonePros and there is an actually tunnel through which the strings go through and come up and around the top of the bridge. In fact, the guy who designed the TonePros is the designer and fabricator of the Pigtail. I absolutely love it!

I have a couple more things to do to this guitar and then I'll post some pix.

If that's the Hamer on your display picture, it has a great top!

How do you guys like the TP wraparound on the studio?

I've been thinking of getting a TP Stoptail for my 93 Studio but am intruiged by the wraparound.

Well, I bought this. I got an email from the seller requesting payment to his address. He was a verified premier member. Right after I sent the guy the money, I went back to look at the pics again and noticed he told someone else to send him the money too.... hmm.

I used paypal so I'm not worried too much...

Take a look at Pigtail as well. Very impressed. Here's the link.

Nice... I sent an immediate email.

Steve, you are a lucky guy. I was too late and my country of residence Indonesia is always a disadvantage. Should You ever be interested to sell this axe again please let me know.

Wow!! That looks like my old Studio that ended up with Lew Collins a few years ago. I had a Duncan Jazz neck with a C5 bridge in mine.

The mid 90's Studio with the Wilkie is the alltime best buy IMHO.

You *will* love it.
