  1. Absofrigginlutely!! EE is the king of the short and sweet solo
  2. Beth Hart kicks ass with or without Bonamassa Sass Jordan (check out S.U.N. - Something Unto Nothing) Alison Mosshart - The Kills, The Dead Weather Adele Joan Osborne Betty Lavette
  3. Yeah - I saw it here on CL and at the time really couldn't afford it, but as soon as I put out the PSA I regretted not making it happen . Glad someone here got it though, maybe I'll be able to get it back someday ...
  4. I had a Seafoam Green T-62 and sold it - D'OH!! (didn't put it on my list because I already had one)
  5. 1 - Rick Nielsen Limited Edition 2 - Artist w/ Boomers (THE one that got away!) 2 - The Punisher
  6. After lurking on the forum for about a year I bought this Korean RN Signature in about 2001. With a Pearly Gates in the neck and a Custom 5 in the bridge this guitar is a rocker. I'd probably only ever sell it if I was able to obtain a USA RN signature
  7. You are SO right! I replaced the speaker in a Rivera R12 with an Alltone and it really brought it to life.
  8. Bugeye!!!!
  9. Guess I won't be selling this Vector now ...
  10. STILL can't believe I let that one go!!
  11. mine is pretty obvious
  12. Wow, didn't know so many guys play guitar while driving - isn't that more dangerous than texting?
  13. We had a record breaking high temp today in Denver and I just couldn't resist rolling down the windows and turning it up full blast! I'm still amazed at how great this record is, I never get tired of it. Another go-to, Rite of Summer album is Candy-o
  14. I NEVER should have let that that one go, damn! Ok, so besides the white artist with boomers... Rick Nielsen Signature Korina or The Punisher Standard Special K Jr.
  15. Yeah, thought BCC album was good but BCC 2 totally kicks ass. Great rock album. Too bad they didn't come to Denver, missed out.
  16. The Kills - Blood Pressures The Cars - Move Like This Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit - Here We Rest Robbie Robertson - How To Be Clairvoyant Beastie Boys - Hot Sauce Committee Part Two ** Joe Bonamassa _ Dust Bowl ** Foo Fighters - Wasting Light ** **bought the same day
  17. If you check out my Avatar you'll get it...
  18. That makes me think of another - actually two that I like better than the original
  19. I'm a huge T Heads fan and prefer the original version but really like what Living Colour did with their cover. Two of my favorite covers of all time do NOT surpass the originals (which I think would be impossible ) but the bands really do make it their own, which is the way it should be. Satisfaction - DEVO (stick around for the noise-fest at the end, awesomely WOV)OK, back to the original point of the thread - covers I think ARE better than the original ... and I know I'll probably get ripped for this one but - Working Class Hero
  20. I have to say it's not a surprise. I think the White Stripes had run it's course, especially after hearing Jack's stuff with Raconteurs and The Dead Weather. I'm not sure what all the WS bashing is about, I'm "old" and really liked all their stuff. It's OK to be popular even if you can't shred like Gilbert and sing like Coverdale.
  21. Red Rocks has been on my mind ever since seeing a MTV live show of U2 there in '81 or '82 I believe. I actually passed on tickets to that Blood Red Sky show at Red Rocks because the weather was so cold and wet that day... D'OH!!! AMEN & +100 on Red RocksMy pick today would probably have to be David Gilmour at the Rocks
  22. waiting for pics...
  23. You must have some deaf neighbors or y'all live far apart in Colorado. 18 watts dimed is friggin' loud, man. AMEN! I have a Savage Macht12 with the studio/stage switch (6/12 watts) and I can't turn it up on the 6 watt setting without blasting my neighbors, let alone using it at 12 watts. I also have a H&K Tube 50 if we ever get to play The Fillmore in Denver.
