black magic Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Man, I love that color bro!! Wish I had the dough. Jack.
woodpile Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 I'm glad to see the guitar made it to you. I wonder if the crack in the knobs happened when I put the bubble wrap in the case to keep the guitar from moving around during shipping. I remember thinking it was a tight fit when I closed the case (but I thought that was a good thing). When I shipped the GT to Seeker I didn't do that and the toggle switch tip cracked (sorry again Dave).Anyway, I hope that doesn't affect your sale. My HFCer price left plenty of room to make a few bucks.
SteveE9C6 Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 That really is gorgeous. Unfortunately, I find myself about 4 bills short of the BIN or I would jump on it.
Pieman Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 I have looked at that a couple of times. Kudos on your eBay ad - - it is very informative. Just curious why you are selling. Good luck on the sale.
VDeuce Posted October 26, 2005 Author Posted October 26, 2005 Thanks for the kind words on the ad and the guitar guys! Woodpile, I thought that perhaps it could have occurred during shipping, but no big deal - we are cool. The pots work correctly without any binding. I'm so used to cracked knobs on new Gibsons that I didn't even notice it until after I took the pics, LOL! I don't suppose it will be difficult or expensive to find replacement knobs. Reason I'm selling is that during the process of waiting to receive the guitar, I ended up buying a killer custom shop '68 Les Paul Custom that isn't produced any longer which really is more to my liking than the Studio and I need the money to pay for the LP. Regards, Jeff
SteveE9C6 Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 I've already got a killer 59 burst 94 Studio Custom. I don't need this guitar. It sure is pretty though. I could throw in my wifes daschunds!
