miragejake Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 PRICE REDUCED: $1750 PLUS ACTUAL SHIPPING COST AND PAYPAL FEES = me clearing $1750 is my bottom dollar on this amazing guitar. Paypal / USPS money order / cashier's check / or EVEN a personal check that clears are all acceptable forms of payment. Build date: 11/7/06 Serial Number: 1277 (this is one of those that doesn't show up on Gerard's registry due to the fire and lost documents). **See pic of build sheet. NEAR MINT: literally has two tiny dings about the size of the tip of a guitar pic...see crappy phone pics, I can take better pics if you need me to...one is near the input jack, the other is near the rear strap button...you gotta really look for these dings. This is a truly amazing guitar that was my go to for a long while, and that I never thought I'd part with...and am still VERY unsure about. But I'm in the process of liquidating my collection as I'm moving out of state and need to build up a little moving fund. To me, this is the perfect guitar: it's a lovely combination of Les Paul tones, Tele tones, 335 tones, and w/ the mini-toggle (Parallel/Spit/Series) you can pull strat tones out of it as well...plus, it's chambered, so it's right at 7 lbs -- and all that w/ the fabulous Melancon Trem. The frets are in fabulouse shape, there's no pick swirls on this one, the Melancon humbuckers are truly boutique quality PAF types...this is a stupid nice guitar. I'd challenge you to find a better guitar for $2k. Comes w/ the G&G case and original build sheet and warranty paperwork. No trades, unless you're gonna throw something at me that I can easily flip for $2500...sorry, that's where I'm at as I'm simply trying to build cash for the move...otherwise, this beauty would never see the for sale forum on TGP **OH AND IT'S GOT A BIG NECK FOR A MEL...see below** CUSTOM ARTIST T #1277 COLOR: NATURAL TOP: FLAME MAPLE BODY: CHAMBERED MAHOGANY NECK: MAHOGANY FINGERBOARD: ROSEWOOD W/ ABALONE DOTS SATIN FINISH NECK SIZE: 1 11/16" NUT / 10" RADIUS / +.060" OVERCARVE **I have Gerard's neck specs sheet, per Gerard that makes this neck .870 / .930 MATCHING HEADSTOCK VENEER ABALONE DOTS AND HEADSTOCK LOGO, AND TONE / VOLUME KNOB CAPS 6150 STAINLESS STEEL FRETS CHROME TREMELO MELANCON PAF-N NECK MELANCON PAF-B BRIDGE MASTER VOLUME MASTER TONE MINI TOGGLE: PARALLEL/SPLIT/SERIES http://s129.photobucket.com/user/connielover/media/IMG_3135_zps1575d247.jpg.html'> http://s129.photobucket.com/user/connielover/media/IMG_3136_zps0b30f07f.jpg.html'> http://s129.photobucket.com/user/connielover/media/IMG_3137_zps6104681c.jpg.html'> http://s129.photobucket.com/user/connielover/media/IMG_3134_zps6fb88f0e.jpg.html'> http://s129.photobucket.com/user/connielover/media/IMG_3132_zps6c51b71a.jpg.html'> http://s129.photobucket.com/user/connielover/media/melbuildsheet_zps129247d4.jpg.html'> http://s129.photobucket.com/user/connielover/media/melding2_zps53b79756.jpg.html'> http://s129.photobucket.com/user/connielover/media/melding-1_zps3330912e.jpg.html'>

atquinn Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Wow, Gerard makes some fine-ass guitars doesn't he?-Austin
miragejake Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 "East of the Mason-Dixon line?" maybe I said that wrong ...basically if you're out in Washington State or Oregon or somethign I'd like you to add a little for the extra shipping cost...but that's all negotiable. Killer guitar boys, you don't see these come up very often.
peedenmark7 Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 These are some of the nicest guitar Ive laid hands on. A cajun gent will be in my future
miragejake Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 I had a Cajun Gent at the same time I owned this Custom Artist...it was a cool guitar for sure, and could I have kept it around I certainly would have. But this one blew it away.
miragejake Posted June 3, 2013 Author Posted June 3, 2013 Been out of town on vacation Bump! Oh, and PRICE REDUCED!!!
miragejake Posted June 20, 2013 Author Posted June 20, 2013 BUMP, I'LL GO $1725 SHIPPED FOR A HFC MEMBER...BOTTOM LINE BOYS.
miragejake Posted June 24, 2013 Author Posted June 24, 2013 TRADES: I keep getting asked, so here goes...I'd be open to "TRADING DOWN" ...I have many different interest in guitars and amps...I mostly like boutiqe type stuff and / or vintage type stuff...I'd love to trade for a Hamer or Heritage or G&L or something like that which had a value of around $1200...as again, I near to clear around $1000 on almost any deal. As far as amps go....silverface Fenders, certain Mesa Boogie's, Valvetech, Dr. Z, Alessandro, D*umble styles, Fargen, Victoria, and other boutique combo amps could intersest me in a trading down scenario.
