Youtube downloading help

Anyone know any tricks to downloading youtube clips??

I used to just pass my cursor over the video, and it would ask if I'd like to download. No more

There are some browser extensions that will do it. They have all sorts of names like "YouTube Downloader" and such.

This app will do it as well. It also transcodes, which is a nice addition:

For Miro, the hiccup is that you have to paste the URL into Miro or search from inside Miro itself. Both work well enough, but a browser extension might be easier for just one or two videos here or there.

If you use FireFox there is something called Download Helper. If you use other browsers, Real Player will do it. I hate Real Player but just passing along info you asked for.
