Double Dee Drop in ??

Simple question : will a double dee ,SIMPLY, drop in as a replacement for a hum bucker, ring untouched, and remain adjustable ?????

I am not sure if my memory is clear.....I THINK that I had to do MINOR routing when sticking a pair of DDs into an older mahogany Vector while ago. But I like the result.

Older 80's, 70's Hamers did not come with pickups covered or Dimarzios with Long Legs installed. So the routes are a little smaller and if you want covers or Long Legs you have to get the old router out. Since they are SD Pups, 90's on up no issues.
