ghamerinfrance Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 A la Gorch ....or you may say like the crowd project from M.Danzig.I found the special produced in Finland, rautiahttp://www.rautiaguitars.net/ccbar.htmlTheir guitars are interesting too, in the concept but I found (and heard) their pick up with pleasure. For any project, humbucker or P90 sized , whereas you want to experiment something different.I have no personal interest (nor share in their business) but any positive (and apparently good material is worth sharing with passionate people)If any of you has already heard or tried them, I would be delighted to hear from you.Cheers
gorch Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Pretty nice! Thanks for heads up. Definitly an alternative. I need to listen to the sound files.
Steve Haynie Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Lollar makes Charlie Christian style pickups for a humbucker route.
Montelovesco Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Thats nice sounding stuff. So the Fins do more than church burning black metal... :-)
ghamerinfrance Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 Apparently....I guess there are no more church available for the business...or a supply problem with the related clothes...(leather, metal, haircut etc..)
gorch Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 i used a lollar in my juniorcheck icon picSeymour Duncan Custom shop also create them on request. At the time I had checked various videos on Youtube and finally decided to go for the British handmade. They seemed to have a touch more warms in sound and also appeared to be the cheapest of the three I had identified. Lollars included on my list.http://www.ccpickups.co.uk
