belikerick Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 * * * SOLD * * * Beautiful Standard Custom in excellent shape - $1,200 shipped! Has SD 59's (zebra, black), "Tone to the Bone" engraved cover plate and is strung with 10s. It is not mint, but there are no dings or dents. The only marks that can be seen are when you look in the light at an angle. Previously belonged to Jaye Isham (was rarely used as a downtuned guitar). Pictures have a bit more red in them than actual color you will see indoors. Comes with OHSC, which shows some use, but all latches work and and inside is minty fresh. This was a dream guitar for me but I am not playing it (maybe 5 hours playing time) and it's just been sitting in it's case. It needs to be played! My home is smoke free. Guitar will be carefully packed and shipped insured via UPS/FedEx ground. Included shipping is to Continental U.S. only. I accept Cashiers Checks, USPS M.O. & PayPal (additional $36 to cover fees) for payment. First come, First Served! Any questions, email or PM me.

Guest galejt Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Are those jumbo frets or are they just glad to see me?
belikerick Posted December 5, 2005 Author Posted December 5, 2005 No, they're stock, but I took those pictures late in the afternoon and I think the shadows created that super jumbo look on the fretboard.
tomteriffic Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 IN DA HOUSE and warming up to room temperature inside the box!I've been aware of Hamers almost since the beginning and saw some of the very first 4-digit Standards when they walked into the studio where I worked. A Standard Custom has been on my wish-list ever since. Just another pointy guitar to some, but this is a big deal to me.Big thanks to Belikerick (along with others involved from the GearPage and elsewhere in a fairly extensive finagle) for helping to make this happen.
LordOfTheThighs Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 TomTerrific ... great looking Standard. Congrats on the new aquisition. A Standard was always on my "dream guitar" list. Got one 3 or 4 years ago. They don't disappoint! Before you know it, you'll be wearing button-up sweaters with bow-ties.
