serial Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 If any southpaws here on the HFC have been uber-pissed that they haven't been able to enjoy the great life that a Hamer three hole Duotone will offer you, HFCer Rick D told me that there's one FS in NYC at Manny's. He asked me to post this on the board in the hopes that it would find a loving lefty HFC home. I don't recall seeing another lefty Duotone before.

serial Posted December 13, 2005 Author Posted December 13, 2005 I saw the righty in there in early November when I was in there. The info I got was a sunburst lefty 3 holer as well from a local guy who knows Hamers. Maybe it's gone?
Guest Mike Lee Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 I was told by Hamer on more than one occasion that they couldn't do a lefty Duotone. I think the problem was getting the acoustic pickup electronics PC board to fit, since it wasn't available in a "backwards" configuration. That was one of the problems with my old T-62...But since this is Hamer we're talking about, anything is possible.

I'd love it if someone in that area could pop in there just to confirm thats theres not someone answering the phone at mannys that doesn't know left from right and what the guitar really is.
