He just cross-checks that against the old Hamer Warranty Card list. You'd be amazed at how many 80s rock stars are now among the walking dead 😀😀

mc2 Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Couldn't someone just take a grinder to a Blitz to make a Scepter? Just thnking out loud.... Should lay a Scepter on top of a Blitz to see if the bodies line up. If they do.....why not buy a $500 Blitz and shave it? If you keep the neck the same color, you even could save the SN#. Just an idea, since it is waaaay easier to find a Blitz.

I used to see Scepters pop up all the time... well at least the "Explorer" shaped ones... I've only seen a couple of the "V"-shaped ones

But with a good router, straight edge, and a bunch of clamps to hold everything in place you could be in biz. They may have taken away my powertools but I can still run for supplies, coffee, soda, beer, smokes, sandwiches, pizza. Gotta put fuel in the tanks of the artisans. you know how to find me, hanging around the caddyshack, talking to Lou's bookie, waiting for a loop. Cheers! caddie
