I'm interested in buying a Hamer USA bass case for my 1982 Cruisebass. Would this bass case for sale on Reverb fit my 1982 Cruisebass properly?

Yep.  That's a B-12A case.  I've got a NOS one of those for some reason...and no damned B-12A!  Way big for a Cruisebass.  A regular Fender Jazz Bass case should fit your Cruisebass fine - try that out maybe?

Hey guys,

Thanks for the response and your advice. I'll pass on that Hamer B-12A bass case for sale on Reverb then,  I currently have my Cruisebass in a TKL universal bass case. It would be nice to have the original Hamer bass case for my Cruisebass. All of my Hamer guitars have their original Hamer cases even though I carry them in either a Pro Tec Contego or Pro Bag double electric gig bag to rehearsals or gigs.

I think that case is for a B12A. alpep has the same case listed under Hamer Parts for $85 on his site. He also has a Hamer universal case that looks pretty big. It's $75. Look under Hardware and you'll see Hamer Parts listed at the top.

According to the website, the 'Hamer Parts' category hasn't been updated since 2002, and the regular 'Parts' category hasn't been updated since 2010.     You might want to call or email alpep for current parts availability.
