hamerhead Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 I'm looking for a box that you can plug a thumb drive or external hard drive into (and RCA out of) for playing music on a regular old stereo. I don't know what you'd call it, so it's hard to search for. A little help?
cynic Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 An inexpensive disc (bluray, dvd, or cd) player with USB input is the easy solution. There may be smaller, more specific boxes, but the market would be so small in comparison the cost would be much higher. Not all with USB inout support this functionality or all file types so do some homework. Note that most also require the stick to be fat vice ntfs.
