OK, so I turned 40 last year, Moved to TX two years ago. I moved away from all the folks I used to play with, and realized I was on my own here. so I could try to find folks to play with, or do more solo stuff.

Long story short, I started writing, I finished a couple of songs and I am looking for input:

I like the first tune but really have a personal distaste for the strumming style you start the tune with. I will change the station if I hear that. Just so prevalent these days. Youre good enough on the instrument to use the same changes and establish something more intersting for the intro. Now that just may be the ole picky guitar player in me coming out. Great hearfelt tune but boring( should have said "needs an intro")intro imo

Second tune. I would love to hear it played without the pick or strumming ( can ya tell Im down on strumming lol )but in a fingerstyle almost bossa style. Thats my " producer " advise.

HELL YES!!!

I couldn't put my finger on that point exactly(The Guitar Part) I just knew I didn't like it

The intro hasn't been written yet, this was just a naked pass trying to get a melody to stick. 

I'll take BORING as well,
