Lockbody Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 https://www.waves.com/specials If you record with a DAW, Waves has lowered the price on a whole bunch of their plugins to $29 ea. One, the SSL G-Master Buss Compressor, has never been available except included in a $299 bundle. I just picked up that one, as well as three others I've had my eye on for a while. The Diamond bundle, which includes a stupid number of plugins, is also a low $299!
DaveL Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Gibson ES-339 Satin red. On reverb thru CME $1375... now at 15% off.. $1168 deal and a half. If you can roll with satin, these are great guitars... pic of my black one oh... and I plucked this used at the Manchester Music Mill Flea Jazz Roadworn... cheep plays awesome... can finally play part that of Iron Maiden's Wrathchild the part after you do the octave part on E, you go up on the D and go... "deedly, did, did did ded doo doo" nice
Biz Prof Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 I didn't pick up any guitar gear, but I got a helluva deal on an anvil and a waistcoat.
gorch Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Another round of strongly reduced Kontakt instruments for me. I've now run through 3 or 4 reduction periods and meanwhile sink in virtual instruments. I definitely need to stop this. Since many are hunting for the new amazing Komplete Mk2 keyboards, I've also taken the chance and scored a two year old Mk1 S61 that's looking almost new for about a third of the list price. The virtual instrument world is impressive.
bkrownd Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 I ordered a basic Hailfire ("firebird" body) from Diamond Guitars' black friday weekend sale. Not a blowout price, but I saved about $100 and kept myself from spending a few hundred more on one of the more blingy models.

I have just seen that Steinberg published their annual major release upgrade. I’m now prepared for decades into the future in the DAW side.
