Has anyone out there had any experience with this model?I'm looking for a P90 guit, but can't swing the cash for the US version. I plan to swap out the pickups, but other than that, how good are they? I find myself skeptical considering the $299 pricetag, but Hamer has always surprised me in the past.Your constructive input is appreciated.

killerteddybear Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 The newest Goldtops are coming in from China, not Korea. My local (San Diego) dealer has one and I've been dropping in to play it for over three weeks. It's a solid instrument, well made and finished, and sounds pretty damned good plugged in and unplugged. Good value for $300.
backinit Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 I'll have one in about 2 weeks. Currently, I only have a Zoom 505II (headphones) to play through as my Fender is in storage....long story....but I'll at least be able to compare the guitar against my strat.
