Big Country Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Recording expenses are starting to run way over. I've been selling gear to round up some money and I am down to 2 guitars. Unfortunately this one has to go next. 1997 Hamer Korina Vector. #23 of the limited run that year. Excellent condition. 2 small, soft dings that would be near impossible to take pics of but I can try. No scratches or guages. Here's some pictures: With the original gold pickup covers which will be included: A close up: I took the covers off because the wax potts had loosened and the guitar was giving off a squeel when plugged in. Plus, I personally think it looks badass without the gold covers: Original Hamer case with order tags. $1950 Shipped. I might consider trades if I can get at least $1,000 out of the deal. Prefer Hamers, PRS, etc.... I plan on buying another Hamer Korina Vector down the road. I absolutely love this guitar and am really sad to be selling. It sounded incredible on our recording. Thomas
Hackubus Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Oh man no! I remember we both got KV's about the same time. Good luck Thomas.
Big Country Posted February 13, 2006 Author Posted February 13, 2006 I know...sigh....I'm trying to find someway to keep this guitar as it is truely special. All my gear geek friends who have high end guitars giggle with glee when they play this bad boy. 6.5 pounds!!! and its so resonant....sigh.... Hopefully I'll be able to pull this thread in a few days but for now I really need the money.Maybe you'll sell me yours down the road!!Thomas
Big Country Posted February 15, 2006 Author Posted February 15, 2006 Alot of interest but no takers yet. This guitar is a dream to play. Smooth as butter.Thomas
serial Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 These are quite possibly the finest Hamers ever made. Every one I've played is exceptional and some are even better!
Big Country Posted February 19, 2006 Author Posted February 19, 2006 Had a buyer but life circumstances threw him a curve ball. this guitar is still for sale. will accept trade offers as long as i can get some funds out of it.Thomas

Kilroy is all about... Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 bump for the korina vector... kilroy posts....
guitfiddler Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Not a good time for selling Vectors. No interest, for some reason. After 3 months of trying, I finally dropped mine to $1,700 ($300. under street price) shipped, this week and had not one bite. I'm shipping mine off to a dealer on consignment next week. Fortunately I'm not in a jam for money, I just don't need 3 korina V's... as much as I love 'em all.
