DaveL Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 Hi, have alot of projects going on and I went with a couple different ideas... putting these up... 1) Nice MJT 2TSB body, clear pine, nicely grain, pretty cool weight 3 lbs 5 oz heavy relic, never installed into a guitar so no holes drilled. $315 firm PP del 2) MJT Tele body, 2 pc alder, Olympic White, seam slightly above control plate. nicely relic'd 4 lbs 12 oz. unmounted, as it came from MJT SOLD 3) Pine tele body, 3 pc, middle section has a raised center panel like a firebird, black nitro (Dustin) finish check along seam on rear, but otherwise in nice shape... not mounted so no extra screws drilled. clear pine 3 lbs 14 oz Had planned a Baritone relic style Tele, and I think that would have come out badass, just no ambition lol... $285 firm pp delivered 2) 3)
soli'd Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 is the SB strat body as matte as it appears in the pics, or is it a glossy clear coat? thanks

crunchee Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 Very nice! Are the pine bodies made from any of the 'hard' pine groups listed here, such as the Southern Yellow Pines? I like pine, but hate the fact that so many varieties of them are soft and dent easily: https://www.wood-database.com/wood-articles/pine-wood-an-overall-guide/
DaveL Posted July 9, 2021 Author Posted July 9, 2021 Hi, was told Eastern on the black one. The MJT, I'm sorry, I don't know. as you can see, it's definitely 9.5 out of 10 condition so you'd want to be careful with it!
