I bought a Focusrite 18i20 -- more of a lateral move from what I have - wasn't ready to upgrade yet (as an upgrade will require a new PC - my chipset doesn't support things like thunderbolt etc...) so this is more of a good enough and good for future field recording stuff where more mic pre's come in handy.... I had 500 but not 3500 for a PC and something like an RME.....

Oh -- and to add to this - they have now sent the truck to Burlington where there's over 100 trailers stacked up as well I'm told -- so my package is "in transit" status (means sitting on a truck unscanned in the lot there).... AND FEDEX arbitrarily adjusted the shipping date on my parcel showing Dec 29th as the ship date....... uh -no guys - the ship date was Dec 21st.... kind of like rolling the odometer back (only in this case it's forward in time) so when it delivers they can say - look - it only took 4 days......
