Teflon tape will do the job just fine and will make up for any discrepancy between the control shaft and the control knob I have used it before and it works great.

diablo175 Posted November 20, 2023 Author Posted November 20, 2023 It's relevant to note that the shaft is spline'd and the fit is snug enough that it doesn't allow for anything more substantial than a single wind of Teflon tape, IF that.
