I was extremely disappointed in myself when my No New Gear 2024 crumbled on January 18.

But a $50 Englishman was more than my fortitude could stand.

That was about 1:50 am Eastern this morning. They were listed as Sold Out about 10 minutes later.

 

 

Maybe I won't buy anything next year.

The announcement came just as I was getting offline for the night. There were only 3 pedals up and I grabbed an Englishman right away. They were gone so fast that I was afraid I missed out. Then I got the conformation e- a few minutes later. 

Don't know why I wanted it. Damn sure don't need it. But it seems I had to have it. 😜

Shipping notice for my Amp 50 came tonight. That was fast based on past experience.

That is fast.  I bought a rubber chicken from the last SNS in the fall, took 3 months to get it.  It was seemingly a B-stock piece as the paint was messed up, but so it goes. 

I told myself, not doing this again, and so far it has stuck.  I can't find any pedal dirt that I like more than the kingsley stuff, so I've avoided the various zendrive offerings, the myriad eternity versions, the amp11, kzoo, etc... I do have an old COT that I like as a booster.  But I wanted a rubber chicken since I've heard so many say it displaced their mu-tron, etc...  It falls a bit short there.  Kinda like comparing rubber chicken and real chicken.

There are currently a dozen pedals available on the shopify page from $100 and up. Some cool stuff, but I'm in sell mode rather than buy mode at the moment.

Lovepedal usually puts an estimate of shipping time for each pedal in the ad during the sales. He's been pretty spot on or early with my pedals.

I used to have zero pedals. Have purchased several LovePedal overdrive type and like them, mostly SNS for a good price.
Need to find some other brands to try.
