Something tells me that Smear guitar was a Gibson. Didn't they put out an SG with a god-awful pickguard not to long ago?
-
Two, actually. There was a long shot coming back from break with Felicias Daytona headstock prominently on screen. They were doing Lenny Kravitz's Always On The Run.

Wow. Stiff Competition with Rick Nielsen, Grohl on drums and Taylor Hawkins on lead vox in the Robin Zander approved white 3 piece suit. Yeah!
-
I'm thinking Something From Nothing as well.

It's in the... Thread.

I still can't believe Zander (my 10 year old) made it through all that!

Pretty sure Friday show will be taped on Thursday, so they won't be *quite* so jetted, but yeah. I see from your link that HBO's Facebook page will stream the show live! I wonder what time they'll actually play since you would think they don't want to compete with themselves on Letterman or HBO network (Sonic Highways premiers Friday). I'm such a geek.

I was looking at some recent video of his and it was all Gibson (!). I expected to see the PRS as well.. -

I'm gonna need some documentation on that. I stand corrected. He was a much better vocalist than Teddie though. Still is! Seeing Derek this weekend. Psyched. -

Mike, put some weed in one of my chambers and make it accessible via a battery compartment that can only be opened once and never resealed. Is there an up-charge for that?

I got some candid thoughts from Ace regrading his policy about not signing guitars. He was wearing a full length leather trench coat whilst eating a chicken wing. It was surreal.

For the record muse, I've never been an obtrusive cell video dude.
-
Don't get me wrong, I love him.

He is a prickly dude. Witnessed prickliness at Warner Theater and the Instant Live crew that was there mentioned it as well (their word, I think).

LOL.

Jol said unprovoked, and not taking the piss, that the 0004 was the "Zander Standard" (his words). If he was fuzzy in details so be it but I did pass on that adage when selling those guitars, and don't want to be seen as misleading anyone. For the record. It does look way orange in that one pic. Color of the 3 together is more accurate. Nice thing is, I'm gonna have another! 0004 clone please! Feel free to relic it, Mike, or put on a stand on a windy day. Just remembered more details on the "drop", a backdrop linen is what caught the wind, pushing into the stand which was on a slight away incline. Never forget the sound. #pthlunk

There was a promo picture of CT about 1975ish at Rick's Pick's exhibit of Robin holding that guitar. I might even have taken a photo of that but I would have to look on Sunday for that. Doesn't mean it was Robin's they may have just grabbed it for the shot. What's with the pissing all over the guitars story all of a sudden?!?

Cheesy, cliche, yup, but somehow I love their new record, "High Road."
