  3. What's the story with the 12 string? condition, action etc. Thanks! Geoff Great action, does NOT need a neck reset, had a pro refret recently, some scuffs on the back like buckle rash but I don't know how they managed that ( see pic of the back) face of guitar is quite clean for a 40 yr old. Original silver tolex hard case..I saw one of those go for $860 on eBay...just the case! aSeems to be all there except for the refret it appears original but I'm not a Ric expert. Price is firm @ $3000, seeing them in the $4500 range at dealers now. Ser. # puts it at March, 1966. I assume this was the 12-string you are asking about, if not let me know if it's the Ymaha..the Guild is gone.
  4. Bump, anyone? make offers.
  5. I used a jig, I'm not that talented, LOL!
  6. A note to everyone..the maple valance with the knot...pulled from the scrap pile because it was tall enough, this is a prototype afterall. It's funny how many people like the knot, I don't but didn't have a piece of tiger maple that tall on hand. Just an idea...what would you guys think of a Corian valance instead of the maple?
  7. It's actually about a 1/4 lb lighter now. Yeah, everyone thought the knot looked like an eagle and that I should leave it, it was literally pulled from the scrap pile because it was tall enough to use in the mock-up. People liked it so I left it.... Actually the business is called "MYSTIK CABS"...no logo yet, working on it. These will be for sale with tons of options to your taste folks!
  8. Here is the prototype, mahogany & maple, oil & wax finish, Marshall handle, rubber feet. I left the front valance that you guys seemed to like....for now . Please feel free to leave me some honest feedback on this piece. More pics in a bit.
  9. I gave this beauty away for $625 earlier this year...it was all I could get and it was a 9/10.... c. 1993 in Aztec Gold w/ gold hardware pkg.
  10. Easy..a Fulltone OCD or a Hermida Mosferatu. I have both, the OCD seems better suited for Marshall type amps while the Mosferatu works well with Fender types.
