crunchee Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 (edited) I sure know that I never asked that question, and definitely not about a Tele clone! Aren't T-types supposed to be known for their simplicity and relative ease of use/play? Saw this item for sale at DGS today, it has modular swappable pickups, multiple trim pots on the back access panel (kinda like a Duo-Tone, except more of 'em), and an active 18-volt volume/tone pickup system. 'Only' weighs 8.4 lbs. : Classic T '04 – Dave's Guitar Shop (davesguitar.com) Anybody ever heard of Mercurio Guitars? I did a little searching online, and it appears that they only lasted for a few years and have since gone away. I wonder why? Edited June 20, 2024 by crunchee Quote
hamerhead Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 All that hardware and still lighter than a Daytona? Impressive! 1 2 Quote
velorush Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 There were several YouTube videos some time back about a similar system by Relish Guitars. E.g., Some of the best guitar advice I've ever received was from our own @murkat: "make it a spaceship, not mission control." This seems to be mission control and the launch pad and Cape all in one. 4 1 Quote
