Saw Buddy again last year on the farewell tour.  Then he announced the farewell encore tour, so later this week...

I don't think anyone explicitly said either way.

On one hand, his enthusiasm and joy for what he does seems somewhat inhuman at 83, but on the other, he is doing a tour after his farewell tour, so...

Well, while the film is set in Clarksdale, it was actually filmed in Louisiana, where Guy was born. Were they trying to tell us something?

It's clearly a riff on the Robert Johnson mythology. And typical Mississippian musician, I feel compelled to remind everyone that THE CROSSROADS IS NOT IN CLARKSDALE.
