Thank you all for the kind words and clicketies!  For the curious, Charlie's preferred P-90 specs are pure vintage blueprint but overwound. Specifically, 42 plain enamel, Alnico 4s, unpotted, around 9.1k DCR, and inductance also just over 9H. It's a phat hoss of a P-90 and it can get ornery when the heat is applied, hence the nickname the "hog ear" dogear.

Good Lord this pickup is incredible.   I saw the video with Charlie Starr originally on Facebook and thought hmmmmm I wonder.   Thanks Jeff and Carondelet for the extremely quick turnaround and fast service.   I was wondering about that "Hogear thang"...oh, and that pickup can get pretty ornery when applied with the proper amperage - Just Killer!
