belgian Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 I am looking for a good wah/volume pedal.Any suggestions ?
elduave Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 If you decide to go the Dunlop Dimebag or Budda Budwah drop me a line...
belgian Posted April 1, 2005 Author Posted April 1, 2005 I want to find the Tony joe White-kind of sound with my Newport Korina, so I don't think the Dimebag is an option.
pesocaster Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 I'm a vintage Wah fan.... have several Thomas Organ Co. Wahs ..... However for newer Wahs... the Budda is killer ...
Hamer95USA Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 Hey guys, I ordered the true bypass switch, the inductor and tone pot from Fulltone's website. I installed all the parts on my Vox wah (Dunlop version). The sound is way better and I don't have the pedal coloring my sound when it's off. Or you can check out the Fulltone Clyde wah pedal. That thing sounds killer, is well designed and costs around $200.00 USD. Not cheap, IMHO, one of the best wah pedals on the market. Check it out at www.fulltone.com Guitar George
kurtsstuff Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 Nothing comes between my guitar and amp......oh wait....thats not the question huh??...lol!
Mr Fuzzy Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 You should check ot the Teese Wahs - RMC Real McCoy Custom They are fantastic wahs. Very dynamic and musical. the only other wah that even comes close to these is the Fulltone. I have a RMC 3 it was expensive but it really was worth it IMHO. RMC Wahs
Jeroen Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 Hey Conrad!!Are you a Tony Joe White fan??? I saw him 2 years ago in Amsterdam (Paradiso) Really great musician!!!I bought my first CD´s of him in 1995 or so and I dig it a lot!!! When I listen to his songs it always reminds me on my trips to the South West...great tunes for New Mexico, Arizona etc. hehehe.btw I use a Dunlop Cry Baby GCB 95...A lil fine tuned by myself and the HFC.I was looking for a Mark Kendall wah sound...and I pretty much got that!!!Jeroen
belgian Posted April 2, 2005 Author Posted April 2, 2005 I saw Tony Joe White 5 times. Some of this gigs were great, others sucked. He is one of those artists of "all or nothing". On one of those gigs about 10 years ago I really had the impression, he just came for a quick buck. Shitty band, 45 minutes set. Now he's playing with just a drummer. Back to the basics. Altough the latest album, with the duets (Lucinda Williams ao) is the best he made the past 20 years.
Jeroen Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 I saw him with only his drummer, and I was amazed!!! Jeroen
belgian Posted April 5, 2005 Author Posted April 5, 2005 I went for the Budda Budwah. It's in the air now, crossing the pond. Thanks Elduave !!
