1998 Gibson Historic Reissue ’58 Les Paul. Brutal Flame Top!!! I looked for about 3 years until I found this one. Bought from an Authorized Historic dealer. Near-Mint Condition. Shows some oxidtion on nickel hardware like most Reissues. Kind of gives it a slightly 'relic look.

Barely played and only at home. 100% original. Nice weight and sounds as nice as it looks. Comfortable, beefy neck which gives it great sustain! Plays effortlessly with low action. No fret-wear,Beautifully grained Rosewood neck too.

I haven't played it much at all. Comes with it’s original Custom Shop hard-shell case. Got some bad GAS for a new toy. $3,300 shipped. I know it's a lot, but they don't come much prettier than this dirty girl!

SOLD!

How big is the neck? Big ol' '59 LP or a full medium? Yes, I would like the weight, too?

Sorry guys, Wow, that sold faaaaaast! (Pending payment)

It had a fat 50's rounded neck profile. It was just a bit too big for me. It weighed just a hair under 9lbs.

No surprise-that one is the nicest R8 I've seen!

That is an amazing-looking LP. I recently played a really great '58 Plaintop and a '54 VOS, both lightweight and nice all-around players.

I think the RIs are the way to go w/a LP...the prices aren't that much different than the regular production stuff that seems to be mostly crap/GC fodder. The R9s are outta my comfort zone, but there are some decent deals out there.

The only one I've really wanted to try out was the limited run Jimmy Page series.
