The last thing I need is a dose of what MTV (and its viewers) "think". Same goes for Al Gore and his inconvenient pontification.

I'm sure the coolness of these appearances was utterly lost on all the hip-hop-heads in attendance and rap fans watching on TV.I'm beginning to think hip-hop will never lose its grip on pop culture. Hair metal lasted, what, 8 or 9 years before it collapsed under the weight of overexposure? It's been 20 years since "Raising Hell" came out and I don't see the popularity of rap diminishing one bit.

You are right though, alot of these rap/ hip hopheads that attending/watching such things as that have no idea of the coolness.Fuck 2 turn table and a microphone !!!!!!!
