Citrus Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 These are getting more popular, and expensive these days - amazing what a review in tonequest magazine will do.lets see where this ends!http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMEBI%3AIT&rd=1
hamersandstrats Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 I sold mine for over $950 last year. It was a beautiful guitar and I'd like to get another one day. The vintage orange color is gorgeous.
jujisque Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 I'm fine with the value going up since I own one. Though I don't really ever plan to sell it, but it is nice to know.
Scooter Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 I bought a '98 Phantom Custom NOS back in '01 for $750! A steal! It was a great guitar - best neck I ever played. I used it in a trade for a Standard Custom a year later. Never liked how the Standard felt. Now I miss the Phantom. Duh.No, I don't have a point.
Rockola Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 I finally read the ToneQuest article. I guess they liked it $1000.00 is high but not a shock. Remember the recent mahogany Phantom auction Black Phantom the PC should have a 150.00 to 200.00 premium over the mahogany Phantom , me thinks. Steve
adferreira Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 That Tone Quest article was very positive about the Phantom.Makes me wish Hamer would put it back in actual production.
Rockola Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 Note to self..... include ToneQuest link in Phantom Custom auction.result = $1034.00 + shipping. Congrats to "Boogie9"S.
