cswilder Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Every few years I buy a floyded shredder and then remember I don't get along with them. It's a cycle I'm sure I'm doomed to repeat. It has some dings and wear, but nothing too terrible. Some visible fret wear in the first few frets, but it's playing well and is a ways from needing a fret level. Very nicely set up with .010s. The electronics are stock as far as I know, but the back plate is missing. Includes the OHSC in serviceable condition. Email for a full set of pics. $375 shipped. Paypal ok. Thanks, Chris
Jeff R Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 On the dings and wear...My (and later gwayne's) '90 2HB Centaura was finished in that same black-sparkle-flake whatever they call it paint and it's the ultimate finish for hiding wear. You have to hold a guitar up to your face to find routine finish issues with that color.

Has a couple of screws holes in the front (someone had a Roland synth unit mounted in it for a while I guess), but you have to get about 6 inches away and know where to look to see 'em.Anyway, that's a nice looking Cent for an equally nice price. Someone should jump on it!-Austin
HamerJammer Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 That's the cool thing about many of the unique finishes that Hamer had on the 80's guitars. They hide dings, checks, scratches, and even chips amazingly well! I have a Cent in a irridescent-finish and a Chap in a marble-finish. I guess they are meant to look perfect forever?!! LOL
AdmiralB Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Are you sure it's a '93? I've never seen that finish in the post-nitro years, which would mean it's not later than '91.
Brooks Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Every few years I buy a floyded shredder and then remember I don't get along with them. ha! me too. every time i bring a new (to me) floyded guitar to rehearsal, the guys start a pool to see how many rehearsals before i return w/ the duotone saying, "oh, i sold that piece of crap". they recently started that talk when i showed up w/ jeffro's G&L (hey, they're horn players, they don't know the difference), but i told 'em "no, listen to the tone on this thing".

It's definitely a 1990 model according to the serial number. Thanks,Chris
