elduave Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Due to a number of factors (which I'm happy to discuss privately) we won't be carrying Mel's for the forseeable future. It's all amicable and Gerard is OK with these going on Ebay, but I figure I'll circulate the forums before that, HFC first of course. As some HFC'ers can attest, these are fine, fine guitars. We have a Pro Artist and a Pro Artist T. The Pro Artist is Sonic Blue with an oversize (.080) neck carve, mint green guard, jumbo frets and light as a feather. There is a small ding on the center of the back of the body. $1299 plus shipping, Poe has dibs (Rob-I don't remember where we left things, give me a shout if you like). The Pro Artist T is virtually untouched, Swamp Ash, 1.65" Nut, 10" Radius, 6150 Stainless frets, chrome hardware. Maple neck and fingerboard. I'll update with price tomorrow but needless to say prices are dealicious. Both include (real nice) case. You can contact me via the link below, I prefer e-mails or calls as opposed to PM's. Thanks fer lookin'! Here's the Pro Artist: And here's the Pro Artist T:
kizanski Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 That Pro Artist is an AWESOME guitar!Perfect neck and perfect body weight. The first person that calls Dave after Poe passes is gonna thrilled to death!
cmatthes Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 That Pro Artist weighs NOTHING.It is an amazing player, and I really wish I had a spare $1,300 right about now...Somebody will be more than happy with that one!
Blueshound Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 That Pro Artist is sweet looking. That sounds like a heck of a price. Wish I had the dough right now. Lee
Brewmaster Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 If I were a rich man.....the Pro Artist T would be mine.
billhart22 Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Pro Artist T.............WOW!! It looks like a breath of fresh air! That is a solid looking guitar. It's the sweetest looking Tele-type that I have seen in a long time. I really like the way the neck is bolted on...with the recessed washers it will stay tight for a long long time.Nice Elduave!Bill
