1983 Dot Neck Sunburst, 1994 P90 Mahogany FS

Well, here's a few gems that need a good home.

First up is a killer '83 Sunburst that just returned from a BCR workup. Greg repaired a chip near the pickup selector switch and a few dings on the face, installed a Rio Grande in the bridge, oiled the fretboard, and polished the frets. Comes with Hamer HSC (looks period correct - red lining) that has been around a little, but is in pretty good shape considering its 25 yrs old or so. She's ready to rock.

Includes original Dimarzio pickups (neck is still installed, bridge will be in the case) and is in overall good cosmetic condition. There's a some checking on the front near the control knobs, but its not that noticeable. A few dings here and there, but nothing major. Great top and the neck is one of the nicest I've played. I would say it's on the smaller side of "medium", but it is certainly not a pencil neck.

Overall, just a great guitar. Greg fixed this up for me right after I got it and I only recently got it back. I'm selling to finance a vintage Marshall purchase - in addition to the fact that I haven't really played it that much (my appendectomy and follow on surgeries took care of that) and I'm very attached to my 61 RI SG and 335. So, reluctantly, I'm passing this one back to the HFC circle. I've got over $1200 in it and I'm looking to get $1175 shipped to the lower 48. USPS MO or Paypal (you pay the fees). Pics later this weekend.

I'm sure I'll regret this later and probably pay through the nose to get it back, but I just can't pass up this amp purchase opportunity.

Next is a 93 P90 Special in rare natural mahogany finish. Very clean with just a little Hameritus. I've actually owned this twice - it's that good. Not too much to say - aftermarket case (new) and an excellent example of a P90 Special. Lots of bark and cleans up nice for chord work, but will get up and conjure up classic Leslie West with the right amp. I'm looking for $675 shipped - same payment terms as above.

Feel free to PM me with more questions or admonishments for selling these kick ass guits.

You are a dork for selling that one, sir. (With all due respect! LOL)

What color is the '83 Sunburst?

Greg - you are correct. I'm probably in the middle of one big dumbass attack.

The top is hard to describe - maybe Greg could post of his BCR pics he took before he sent it back.

One stipulation for the sale - I get first dibs if the new owner ever decides to sell. I work in the intelligence field, so don't think I won't find you if you stiff me. :)

What color is the '83 Sunburst?

Umm.....Sunburst? LOL

The neck is not one of the pencil necks like many Specials out there. IMO, it's a nice "medium" and plays like a USA Hamer should.

Also, it's a '93, not a '94.

Pics of the Sunburst coming tomorrow.

Here's some pics of the Special:

Greg seems to have done the perfect job on repairing those dings. From the picture the guitar looks absolutely stunning with no damages at all. Beautiful flame... You'll regret selling her I think...

Yep, Greg did a great job. However, this pic was taken before the chip occurred. I'll take more pics today, but I challenge anyone to pick out the spot where the chip was. Greg's got some Voodoo going up there in PA.

I'll consider overseas shipping, but would rather it be a USA deal.

Dumbass attack is over. I'm keeping both of these beauties.

What was I thinking?

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I was wanting that Special bad. I have a single cut LP Special that does fine, don't need another.
