It is with a heavy heart that I must list these items for sale. John's widow, Coletta asked me to take care of selling some of John's equipment. I was able to place a few but these remain.

If interested please e mail me with the name of the amp you are interested in the subject line of your e mail.

Don't bother with low ball offers I would like to get as much as possible for these, Coletta could use the money.

Shipping will be extra and arranged though me.

Trace Elliot Velocette

Fender Pro Reverb - BF chassis in mojo (?) cab with 2 Celestion G12H80

Sunn Sorado head

Sunn 200S head

Sunn cab (1x15?)

Peavey XR-600C mixer/power amp

Dean Markley (1x15?)

dig deep gentleman.

I do not have pictures generally John's stuff was in pristine condition.

I don't have the stuff here so I will not be able to answer specific questions until I get it in my pocession.

thanks for reading

Nightwolf took SUPREME care of his stuff. Everything will be in nearly new condition. He took pride in keeping his stuff clean, moreso than anyone I have ever met.

I am glad the Emery is staying with his wife. That amp was his baby, I will remember that night he was playing with us in Gregs shop fondly. That weekend was also the first time I had met cajunboy and JeffR. It was a wonderful weekend, and one that I will hold dear for the rest of my days.

We stood around like kids, grinning as we tried different tubes in that bad boy.

Fun times, those...

Hi,

I'm new to the Hamer forum and am interested in purchasing the Trace Elliot. Do you know if it has the 10" or 12" speaker and does it come with reverb? Also, do you know if it has the original output transformer and original tubes? The transformers were recalled, so I'm hoping it's not original. The 10" usually sell for about $300 if in excellent shape. So, I'd be willing to pay $300 plus shipping to TX 77379. I can pay via paypal. A picture of the amp would be appreciated, but I'm willing to take a chance under the circumstances. Let me know. I'm still having trouble logging in and posting on the boards so you may want to email me at joeasac@yahoo.com.

Thanks,

Joe

I replied to your e mail Joe.

did you get it?

Just a remark.

I am trying to do a favor for the widow of a close friend. I am not making any money on this, In fact it is costing me time and money and that does not matter I would do it anyway.

Go hijack another thread please. this is not the time or place to get into a pissing match about who had the better times or who was the closer friend. This is the time to do a mitzvah and help out the widow of one of our friends who has joined the "choir invisible". What a concept? I thought some of the folks here may be interested in owning some of John's stuff.

For those of you who have sent me e mails asking about certain amps thanks and I will do my best to accomodate your requests.

I wish I could help out, but my amp situation is - thankfully - pretty good.

Al - those may have been a friendly bump (as is this) rather than an attempted hijack. If I'd had the pleasure of meeting John, I'd beat my chest a bit, too. I miss him here.

Of all the places for unnecessary drama to unfold. :)

Since obviously no discourse not approved by the original poster seems to be allowed here, there shall be no further discourse allowed period. The items for sale have been listed, Al's contact info has been posted. If you're interested, you know what to do.
