BadgerDave Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Here’s the first offering of the BD “old wood acquisition” sale: Near mint (9.9/10) meaning there is no wear on this guitar other than that intentionally applied at the factory. 1 year old Fender USA Custom Shop ’60 Stratocaster Relic. One of a special run by Fender for Dave’s Guitar featuring light relicing (more than “Closet Classic”, less than “Relic”) 9.5 radius neck and larger Med. Jumbo Dunlop 6105 frets. Sherwood Green, dark, thick rosewood slabboard, medium oval “C” neck. Vintage case and a truckload of case candy (everything originally included by Fender will be passed on to the buyer). CS Certificate. MSRP $3,600.00 + I paid $2,500. I’ll sell for $1,900.00 plus shipping and PayPal fees (if used). Sorry, no trades – I need to pay off the credit card after a recent purchase.

kizanski Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 If you polish a relic, does that hurt the value?Only if you're Polish.**ducking**
BadgerDave Posted July 19, 2007 Author Posted July 19, 2007 If you polish a relic, does that hurt the value? Ha! Speaking of polish, I forgot to tell you about how well brown Kiwi shoe polish takes the "new" off a satin orange-over-spruce Hamer finish. It's really quite remarkable!
