WTB: US or Japanese Tele

Hey guys,

Just looking for a nice Tele to have. I don't mind dents or dings. Anyone have some just laying around?

I've got about a half dozen, but I'm not looking to get rid of any anytime soon. If you have any Tele questions, let me know-I might be able to help you. Depending on your budget, I think the best deals are on AVRI 52RIs and AVRI '62 Customs-those are great guitars. Older MIJs are nice, but they are pretty close in price to what you can buy a USA Vintage one for and the USA ones are a good bit better IMHO.

Didn't have any handy pics of my fave all-time Tele, my '78 black Keef-approved Custom or my seafoam '66 Custom replica.

I have a parts candy apple red esquire/tele if u are interested.

Its got a very large maple neck ( allparts), Fender Esquire logo on the headstock.

I believe the body is from a mexican or japanese fender - has the route for a neck pickup

The bridge pickup is a virtual tele from duncan.

It is set up as an esquire with the selector switch set for bridge-with tone control, bridge with no tone control-bright, and bridge withno tone control-warm

looking for 350 + shipping no case - possibly have a inexpensive soft case available

I have this one:

Tele_and_Strat_full.jpg

Fender USA body, Warmoth "fatback" maple/rosewood neck, compound radius, stainless frets, RIO Muy Grande Humbucker in the bridge (splits via push/pull on the tone control), Rio Tallboy Strat pickup in the middle, Fender Tele neck pickup. Five-way switch. Gotoh locking "kluson style" tuners with height adjustable posts (no string tree needed). Kicks all kinds of a$$ and plays exactly like butter.

$750 inc. nylon over rigid foam lightweight case, shipping included in lower 48.

I have a n.o.s. Fender Japan-made '52 reissue in butterscotch. Played only several times, frets are 99% plus. A few light scratches on the (black 'bakelite') pickguard. Unemployment forces sale.... $650. shipped. Contact me at (email): Craigr1953@msn.com

if interested.
