The case shown is not the original, not that that is a big deal. IMO anything under $2500 is a steal. Mine is not and probably will never be for sale, but if I was desperate my low threshold would be $3500. I bought mine when list was only $5000! If you have never played one, they are special and there is definitely some magic in those pickups.
